Nana's old fashioned rice pudding

Ingredients:
-JUDI M. PHELPS
1/2 cupLong grain rice
1 largeEgg
1/2 cupSugar
Ds Salt
1 tspVanilla extract
1/2 tspNutmeg
1 smallCan evaporated milk
Regular milk
Cinnamon
Procedures:
1Place rice in saucepan, add salt.
2Cover with water; cook covered on low for 20 minutes; stirring occasionally.
3Test rice to be sure it is done, then set aside.
4Do not drain rice.
5in a casserole, place egg, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
6Beat all together.
7Place small can of the evaporated milk in a cup, add the regular milk to make one cup total.
8Then add 1-?cups additional milk to the casserole.
9Add rice last.
10Stir all slightly.
11Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
12Bake in 325 °F.
13Oven 40 minutes.
14Mixture will look somewhat loose, but will harden as it cools.
