Green beans with olives

Ingredients:
1 lbsGreen beans
1 tbspButter
1 tbspOlive oil
1 smallGarlic clove, minced
2 Scallions, finely chopped
1/2 cupPimento-stuffed green olives
Sliced
1 1/2 tbspLemon juice
Salt and pepper
Procedures:
1Cook beans in a large pot of boiling salted water until just tender-crisp, 3 to 5 minutes.
2Drain in a colander and plunge immediately into ice water to stop the cooking.
3Drain again, and cut into 1" pieces.
4Set aside.
5Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet.
6Add garlic and scallions and saute until softened.
7Add beans, olives and lemon juice; saute until heated through.
8Add salt and pepper to taste.
9Serve immediately.
