Ingredients:

| tbsp | Chopped Onion | | | Clove garlic, minced | | 1/4
| cup | Minced fresh parsley | | 1
| tsp | Basil | | 1/4
| tsp | Ground Coriander | | 1/4
| tsp | Oregano | | 1/4
| tsp | Black pepper | | 15
| oz | Can drained Chick Peas | | 3
| tbsp | Lemon juice | | 2
| tbsp | Toasted Sesame seeds | | 1
| dash | Cumin |

Procedures:
| 1 | Garnish: lemon wedges, cherry tomatoes, or fresh parsley sprigs (opt) in a small skillet, heat oil; saute onion and garlic until onion is softened. | | 2 | Add seasonings. | | 3 | Stir just long enough to soften parsley. | | 4 | In food processor, combine rinsed and drained chick peas and lemon juice; process until smooth. | | 5 | Stir in onion and herb mixture; stir in sesame seeds. | | 6 | Spoon into serving bowl. | | 7 | Top with garnish if desired. | | 8 | Makes 1 ?cups variations: - substitute 15-oz can great northern beans for chick peas. |
