Ingredients:
| 15
| oz | Tomato sauce | | 1
| lbs | Bacon, * | | 4
| | Cloves | | 1/4
| cup | Brown sugar | | 4
| tsp | Rogelio bueno adobo, ** | | 1
| lbs | Beans | | 1
| large | Red onion, chopped> | | | Crushed garlic | | 2
| tsp | Worcestershire, or more |

Procedures:
| 1 | ** use about 4 tab. | | 2 | Of the paste and add it about 45 minutes to 1 hour before serving the beans. | | 3 | *uncooked and sliced to thickness you like. | | 4 | Put beans in crockpot and add water to cover plus 1 cup or the amount you would want for juice. | | 5 | Let beans cook till they start to soften then add everything but the adobo and let cook till done. | | 6 | Add salt and pepper to taste. | | 7 | I sometimes add 1- cup of beef broth instead of the water as i like the richer flavor. | | 8 | If using the broth i"m careful adding salt. | | 9 | We serve with fat slices of buttered french bread and pour the beans and juice on top of it. |
