Ingredients:

| lbs | Small White Beans | | 2
| lbs | Brown Sugar | | 1 1/2
| cup | Molasses | | 1/2
| cup | Catsup | | 3
| lbs | Bacon |

Procedures:
| 1 | : onions : salt and pepper -- to taste | | 2 | cover beans and let stand overnight. | | 3 | Do not drain. | | 4 | add teaspoon salt. | | 5 | Slice bacon ? x 1" thick. | | 6 | Combine in large roaster and bake at 300 °F for 5 to 7 hours. | | 7 | stir occassionally. | | 8 | Add liquid as needed ( use a combination of water and catsup, water and brown sugar, or water and molasses). | | 9 | recipe by : marie guderjohn |
