| med | Onion | | 1
| tbsp | Salt | | 1
| cup | Brown sugar | | 2
| tbsp | Molasses | | 2
| tsp | Dry mustard | | 1 1/2
| cup | Ketchup | | 1/2
| lbs | Bacon -- cut in cubes | | | Water -- to cover |

Procedures:
