Ingredients:

| cup | Cooled mashed butternut | | | -squash | | 2
| tbsp | Butter, melted | | 1
| tbsp | Brown sugar | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 6
| cup | Peeled chopped apples | | 1/4
| cup | Sugar | | 1 1/2
| cup | Cornflakes, crushed | | 1/2
| cup | Chopped pecans | | 1/2
| cup | Firmly packed brown sugar | | 2
| tbsp | Butter |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine first four ingredients, stirring well, and set aside. | | 2 | Melt 1 t of the butter in a large skillet; add apples and sugar. | | 3 | Cover and simmer 8-10 minutes or until tender. | | 4 | Drain off excess liquid. | | 5 | Stir apples into squash mixture. | | 6 | Spoon into lightly greased 2 quart cas- serole dish. | | 7 | Combing remaining ingredients, stirring well. | | 8 | Sprinkle over squash mixture. | | 9 | Bake at 350f for 20 minutes. |
