Ingredients:

| cup | Butter or margarine melted | | 1 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 1 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 1 1/2
| tsp | Vanilla extract | | 3

| cup | All purpose flour | | 1/2
| cup | Hershey's cocoa | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1/2
| tsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat oven to 350f grease 8 inch square baking pan. | | 2 | In medium bowl blend butter, sugar and vanilla. | | 3 | Add eggs; using spoon, beat well. | | 4 | Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until welll blended. | | 5 | Spread into prepared pan. | | 6 | Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the side of the pan. | | 7 | Cool completely; cut into squares. | | 8 | (16 brownies) | | 9 | variation stir one cup of reese"s peanut butter chips or hershey"s semi sweet chocolate chips into batter. |
