Ingredients:

| cup | Sifted flour | | 1 1/2
| tsp | Grated lemon rind | | 2
| cup | Butter, softened | | 2
| large | Egg yolks |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream sugar and butter in a medium-size bowl. | | 2 | Beat in eggs, then flour and lemon peel. | | 3 | Knead gently together. | | 4 | Don"t overwork the dough, but make sure it"s consistent. | | 5 | Chill dough for 3 hours. | | 6 | Preheat oven to 350°F. | | 7 | Roll out dough with rolling pin. | | 8 | Cut into shapes and place on greased cookie sheets. | | 9 | Bake until tops get pinkish-brown, about 8 minutes. | | 10 | Makes 2 to doz. | | 11 | Cookies, depending on size. |
