Ingredients:

| pack | Yellow cake mix (2-layer) | | 1/4
| cup | Butter, softened | | 1/3
| cup | Milk | | 1
| | Egg | | 1
| cup | Chocolate chips, semi-sweet | | | - or any | | 1/2
| cup | Walnuts, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Set oven at 375°F. | | 2 | Lightly grease baking sheet with shortening. | | 3 | Stir cake mix, butter, milk and egg together in bowl. | | 4 | Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. | | 5 | Drop from teaspoon, about 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet. | | 6 | Bake for about 12 minutes. | | 7 | Let stand a few seconds before removing to wire rack to cool completely. | | 8 | ~-- |
