| lbs | Candied cherries, chopped | | 1
| lbs | Candied pineapple, chopped | | 1
| lbs | Dates, chopped | | 6
| cup | Pecans, chopped | | 1/2
| cup | Buttermilk | | 3
| | Eggs, well beaten | | 2
| tsp | Cinnamon | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1
| tsp | Allspice | | 1/2
| tsp | Nutmeg | | 1/2
| tsp | Cloves | | 1
| tsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream butter & sugar. | | 2 | Add eggs. | | 3 | Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to sugar/butter/eggs mixture. | | 4 | Pour batter into chopped fruits and nuts. | | 5 | Mix. | | 6 | Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake 25 min. in a 300 degree oven. | | 7 | Do not burn. |
