| cup | Raisins, ground | | 1
| tbsp | Lemon juice |

Procedures:
| 1 | Dough: cream sugar, salt and shortening. | | 2 | Beat in eggs and vanilla. | | 3 | Sift together dry ingredients. | | 4 | Add to creamed mixture. | | 5 | Filling: mix sugar and flour. | | 6 | Stir in water slowly. | | 7 | Add nuts and raisins. | | 8 | Cook until slightly thickened. | | 9 | Cool assembly: take two rounds of unbaked cookie dough and put a spoonful of filling in center of one cookie and put the second on top of the bottom one. | | 10 | Bake 350°F. | | 11 | About 12 to 15 minutes. |
