Frosted chocolate drops

Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter or margarine, soft
1/2 cupGranulated sugar
1/2 cupBrown sugar, firmly packed
1 Egg
3 ozUnsweetened chocolate
-- melted and cooled
1/2 tspSoda
1/2 tspSalt
1/2 cupDairy sour cream
1/2 cupMilk
1 cupQuaker Oats, uncooked
-- (quick or old-fashioned)
FROSTING
2 tbspButter, soft
3 cupSifted confectioners' sugar
1 tspVanilla
3 tbspMilk
FOR DECORATION
Pecan halves
Procedures:
1Beat butter and sugars together until creamy.
2Blend in egg and melted chocolate.
3Sift together flour, soda and salt.
4Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream and milk.
5Stir in oats.
6Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cooky sheets.
7Bake in preheated moderate oven (375°F).
810 to 12 minutes; cool.
9For frosting, combine all ingredients.
10Beat until smooth and of spreading consistency.
11Frost cooled cookies.
12Top each cooky with a pecan half.
