Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter or margarine
1 cupSugar
1 tspVanilla extract
2 Eggs
2/3 cupGraham cracker crumbs
- (about 4 crackers)
1/3 cupAll-purpose flour
1/3 cupHershey's Cocoa
1/4 tspBaking powder
1/4 tspSalt
1/2 cupChopped nuts (optional)
BROWNIE FROSTING
3 tbspButter or margarine
-- softened
3 tbspHershey's Cocoa
1/2 tspVanilla extract
1 cupPowdered sugar
2 tbspMilk
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 350°F.
2Grease 9-inch square baking pan.
3In medium saucepan, melt butter.
4Remove from heat; stir in sugar and vanilla.
5Add eggs; beat well with spoon.
6Add remaining ingredients, stirring until mixture is well blended.
7Spoon batter into prepared pan.
8Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownie springs back when lightly touched in center.
9Do not overbake cool completely in pan on wire rack.
10Frost with brownie frosting, if desired.
11Cut into squares.
1216 brownies.
13brownie frosting (optional): in small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened, 3 tablespoons hershey"s cocoa and ?teaspoon vanilla extract.
14Add 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 to 2 tablespoons milk; beat to spreading consistency.
15About 1 cup frosting.
