| pack | (3 oz) cream cheese | | 1/2
| cup | Condensed milk | | 2
| tbsp | Cashews, ground | | 1/2
| cup | Chopped walnuts | | 1/4
| tsp | Almond extract | | | CRUST | | 1 1/2
| cup | Flour | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 3/4
| cup | Sugar | | 1/2
| cup | Butter, softened | | 1
| each | Egg | | 1/4
| tsp | Almond extract |

Procedures:
| 1 | Make the filling first. | | 2 | In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, cream cheese and milk. | | 3 | Melt over low heat, stirring constantly. | | 4 | Remove from heat. | | 5 | Stir in nuts and almond extract; blend well. | | 6 | Set aside. | | 7 | In a large bowl, combine all remaining ingredients. | | 8 | Mix well until crumbly. | | 9 | Press half the crust mixture into an oiled 7 x 11-inch pan. | | 10 | Spread filling over crust. | | 11 | Sprinkle rest of crust mixture over filling. | | 12 | Bake at 350 °F for 20-25 minutes. | | 13 | Makes 18 bars |
