Ingredients:

| cup | Squash, cooked, mashed | | 1 1/2
| cup | Unbleached White Flour | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking Powder | | 1
| tsp | Nutmeg | | 1/2
| tsp | Cinnamon | | 1 1/2
| cup | Dates, finely chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Beat together oil, egg, and sqash. | | 2 | Add flour, baking powder and spices. | | 3 | Beat well; stir in dates. | | 4 | Drop batter by small teaspoonfuls onto lightly oiled baking sheets. | | 5 | Bake at 350 °F for 10 minutes or until firm to the touch. | | 6 | Cool on wire racks. |
