| cup | Chopped nuts | | 1
| lbs | Dates, chopped | | 1 1/3
| cup | Flour | | 1
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine honey and eggs. | | 2 | Add flavoring. | | 3 | Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt. | | 4 | Add to honey and egg mixture. | | 5 | Add nuts and dates. | | 6 | Mix thoroughly. | | 7 | Pour into shallow, well-oiled pan. | | 8 | Bake in moderate oven (375°F) about 10 minutes. | | 9 | Cut in strips 1 inch wide and 3 inches long. | | 10 | Roll in powdered sugar. | | 11 | 36 servings |
