Ingredients:

| lbs | Dark Brown Sugar | | 1/2
| lbs | Butter | | 1
| | Egg | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 2
| pack | English Walnuts, Chop Fine | | 2
| cup | Sifted Flour |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream butter and sugar. | | 2 | Add egg, vanilla, and walnuts. | | 3 | Beat by hand until well mixed. | | 4 | Add flour. | | 5 | Make into one or two rolls and refrigerate. | | 6 | When ready to bake, cut in thin slices (size and thickness of half dollar). | | 7 | Bake at 350°F for 4 minutes. | | 8 | Watch carefully as they tend to burn easily. | | 9 | Cool 30 seconds before removing from cookie sheet. |
