Ingredients:
2 cupFlour
2 1/2 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspSalt
2/3 cupButter
2 1/2 cupBrown sugar
3 Eggs
1 tspVanilla
1 cupCoarsely chopped nuts
1 1/4 cupCarob chips
Procedures:
1Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
2Melt butter.
3Add sugar and beat until well mixed.
4Let cool slightly.
5Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
6Stir in dry ingredients, followed by vanilla.
7Stir in nuts and carob chips.
8Turn into lightly oiled 9 x 13-inch pan.
9Bake at 350 °F for 25 minutes.
10Let cool.
11Cut into bars.
