Ingredients:
| 1/2
| cup | Butter or margarine | | 1/2
| cup | Sugar | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| | Eggs | | 1/2
| cup | Molasses | | 1
| tbsp | Vinegar | | 3
| cup | All-purpose flour | | 3/4
| tsp | Baking soda | | 2
| tsp | Ground ginger | | 1/2
| tsp | Ground cinnamon | | | Redhots for eyes and buttons |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cream margarine, sugar, salt. | | 2 | Stir in egg, molasses and vinegar. | | 3 | Add remianing ingredients except red hots. | | 4 | Chill 3-4 hours. | | 5 | Roll out 1/8" thick on lightly floured board. | | 6 | Place 1" apart on greased cookie sheet. | | 7 | Press in red hots for eyes and buttons. | | 8 | Bake 375f about 8 minutes. | | 9 | Cool before removing from cookie sheets. |
