Ingredients:
2 medExtra-ripe DOLE Bananas
3/4 cupBrown sugar, packed
3/4 cupMargarine, softened
1 Egg
1 3/4 cupQuick-cooking oats
1 1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
1 tbspGround cinnamon
1/2 tbspGround nutmeg
1/2 tbspBaking soda
1/2 tbspSalt
1 1/2 cupDOLE Raisins
1 cupDOLE Chopped Almonds
48 Wooden popsicle sticks (opt)
Procedures:
1Place bananas in blender.
2Process until pureed; sue 1 cup for recipe.
3Beat brown sugar and margarine in large bowl until light and fluffy.
4Beat in egg, then 1 cup banana.
5Combine oats, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and salt in small bowl; stir into banana mixture just until blended.
6Stir in raisins and almonds.
7Drop by 2 heaping tablespoonfuls, 2" apart, onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
8Push popsicle stick into center of each, if desired.
9Flatten tops of cookies with back of spoon.
10Bake in 350°F.
11Oven 15-18 minutes until lightly browned.
12Cool on wire racks.
13Makes 3 ?to 4 dozen cookies.
