Ingredients:
2 lbsAlmond macaroons (fresh
Moist, mound type)
1/2 galNatural vanilla ice
Cream
3 ozBourbon
Procedures:
1Recipe by: chachie"s new orleans cooking preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2Crumble macaroons by hand onto 2 large cookie sheets.
3Bake in a 400 oven for 10 minutes until golden brown, tossing occasionally.
4Let cool.
5Melt ice cream to a semi-soft consistency.
6Place ice cream in a large bowl.
7Add macaroon crumbs and mix thoroughly.
8Add bourbon and mix thoroughly.
9Refreeze mixture immediately in two ?gallon containers.
10Serve frozen.
