| 1 | Large fresh strawberries |
| 2 | beat egg whites until foamy; add salt and cream of tartar. |

| 6 | Drop mixture by spoonfuls on waxed paper lined cookie sheets. |
| 7 | Bake at 300 °F for 20-25 minutes. |
| 8 | Cool slightly and remove from pan. |
| 9 | Store in airtight containers. |
| 10 | Serve on tray with strawberries. |
