Milk chocolate florentine cookies

Ingredients:
2/3 cupButter or margarine
2 cupQuick oats, uncooked
1 cupSugar
2/3 cupAll-purpose flour
1/4 cupCorn syrup
1/4 cupMilk
1 tbspVanilla extract
1/4 tbspSalt
1 packNESTLE Toll House milk
-chocolate morsels (11.5 oz)
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 375°F.
2melt butter in medium saucepan over low heat.
3Remove from heat.
4Stir in oats, sugar, flour, corn syrup, milk, vanilla extract and salt; mix well.
5Drop by measuring teaspoonfuls, about 3" apart, onto foil-lined cookie sheets.
6Spread thin with rubber spatula.
7bake 5-7 minutes.
8Cool on cookie sheets.
9Peel foil away from cookies.
10melt nestle toll house milk chocolate morsels over hot (not boiling) water; stir until smooth.
11Spread chocolate on flat side of half the cookies.
12Top with remaining cookies.
13makes 3 ?dozen sandwich cookies.
