English sweet and sour ribs

Ingredients:
3 lbsShort rib
3/4 cupAll-purpose flour
2 tbspSeasoned salt
1 tbspPepper
1/2 cupCooking oil
2 cupOnion
1 1/2 cupHot water
8 tbspDark brown sugar
1/3 cupCatsup
1/4 cupRed wine vinegar
2 Garlic clove
2 Bay leaf
Procedures:
1* short ribs should be meaty and cut in the english cut.
2Trim excess fat from short ribs.
3Combine flour, seasoned salt and pepper; dredge shrot ribs.
4Brown ribs in oil on all sides in dutch oven.
5Remove meat from pan.
6Add onions and cook until golden brown.
7Place ribs on top of onions.
8Combine water, brown sugar, catsup, vinegar, garlic and bay leaves; pour over ribs.
9Cover and bake in moderate oven (350 °F).
