Ingredients:

| cup | Sifted all-purpose flour | | 1/4

| | Egg whites, slightly beaten | | 1 3/4
| cup | Finely chopped pecans | | | FROSTING | | 2
| cup | Confectioners sugar | | 2
| tbsp | Butter, softened | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 2
| tbsp | Hot water | | | Green food color |

Procedures:
| 1 | Bake in 350°F for 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned around edges; remove to wire rack to cool. | | 2 | To prepare frosting: in a small mixing bowl combine sugar, butter and vanilla. | | 3 | Gradually add water and food color for desired color and beat until mixture is smooth and holds shape slightly. | | 4 | Using teaspoon drop frosting into centers of cookies. | | 5 | Makes 4-5 dozen. |
