Nona's baklava

Ingredients:
1 cupButter (salted)
1 cupHoney
1/2 cupSweet butter, melted
1 eachBox fillo dough
1 lbsWalnuts, chopped
1 lbsAlmonds, chopped
1 tspNutmeg
Procedures:
1Heat regular (salted) butter with honey until mixture bubbles.
2Set aside about 1/8 of it.
3In a bowl, combine nuts and nutmeg.
4Pour remaining 7/8 of honey syrup over nut mix to moisten.
5Lay fillo dough on cutting board lengthwise.
6Brush one layer at a time with melted sweet butter (unsalted) until you have 3 layers.
7Line up a ?inch wide strip of nut mix along edge of dough about ?inch thick.
8Pick up that edge and roll dough into a cylinder with nut mix in the center.
9Cut each cylinder into 8 pieces and place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
10Repeat until all nut mix and fillo dough are used.
11Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 10 to 20 minutes.
12Warm leftover syrup and spoon on top.
13Let cool before serving.
14If you cannot locate fillo dough, use our pie crust recipe, roll dough very thin, and use only one layer of dough instead of three.
15Makes 1 batch.
