Oatmeal banana bars

Ingredients:
3/4 cupMargarine
1 cupPacked dark brown sugar
1 Large egg, beaten
1/2 tspSalt
2 Mashed bananas
1 tspVanilla extract
1/2 cupCreamy peanut butter
4 cupRolled oats
Procedures:
1Recipe by: jo anne merrill preparation time: 1:30 * choose ripe bananas that have some dark brown flecks on the peel.
2Use enough to make about 1 cup mashed.
3cream the margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
4Add the beaten egg, salt, bananas, vanilla and peanut butter.
5Beat until very well mixed.
6Stir in the oats and blend thoroughly.
7Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
8Spread the mixture evenly in pan.
9Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
10Cool slightly, then cut into bars of about 1 x 2 inches.
11yield: about 4 dozen bars.
