| cup | Firmly packed brown sugar | | 3/4
| cup | Butter, softened | | 1
| tbsp | Vanilla extract | | 1
| | Egg | | 2
| tbsp | Water | | 2
| cup | Quick oats, uncooked | | 1
| pack | NESTLE Toll House semi-sweet | | | -chocolate morsels (12 oz) |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 375°F. | | 2 | In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. | | 3 | In large mixer bowl, beat brown sugar, butter and vanilla extract until creamy. | | 4 | Beat in egg. | | 5 | Gradually blend in flour mixture, then water. | | 6 | Stir in oats and nestle toll house semi-sweet chocolate morsels. | | 7 | Spread in greased 9" square pan. | | 8 | Bake 30-35 minutes. | | 9 | Cool; cut into 1 ? squares. | | 10 | Makes 3 dozen squares. |
