| | Egg, beaten | | 1 1/2

| tsp | Salt | | 2
| tsp | Baking Powder | | 1/4
| cup | Milk | | 1/2
| cup | Seedless Raisins | | 1 1/2
| cup | Oatmeal | | 1/2
| cup | Nutmeats |

Procedures:
| 1 | Beat shortening, syrup and egg. | | 2 | Sift dry ingredients together and add to the shortening mixture alternately with the milk, mix well. | | 3 | Add raisins, oatmeal and nuts. | | 4 | Drop by spoon on a greased cookie sheet, leaving space between them. | | 5 | Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 15 minutes |
