| tsp | Baking powder | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1/2
| cup | Butter | | 1
| cup | Sugar | | 1
| | Egg | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1/4
| cup | Milk |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 375°F. | | 2 | Sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. | | 3 | Set aside cream together teh butte and sugar until very light. | | 4 | Add egg and blend well; mix in vanilla. | | 5 | Gradually add dry mixture to creamed mixture. | | 6 | Slowly blend in milk. | | 7 | Drop cookies on a greased cookie sheet, placing each 2" apart. | | 8 | Bake 8 to 10 minutes. |
