Orange marmalade cream cheese bars

Ingredients:
3/4 cupButter, softened
3/4 cupSugar
1/4 tspSalt
2 cupFlour
1 1/3 cupPecans, toasted, chopped
12 ozCream cheese, softened
2 Eggs
1 tspVanilla
1 1/2 cupOrange marmalade
Procedures:
1Description: these make a great finale for brunch---a nutty shortbread crust topped with orange marmalade and cream cheese.
2preheat oven to 350.
3Butter a 9x13 pan.
4Beat together butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy.
5Add flour ?cup at a time and mix until well blended.
6Stir in 1 c of the nuts (mixture will be crumbly).
7Place 1 c of mixture in small bowl and add remaining 1/3 c nuts.
8Set aside for topping.
9Press remaining mixture over bottom of buttered pan.
10Bake 15 minutes.
11Cool.
12Beat cream cheese in large mixing bowl until smooth.
13Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
14Stir in vanilla and ?c of the marmalade.
15Spread cooled cookie base with remaining ?c marmalade.
16Pour cream cheese mixture over top, spreading evenly.
17Top with reserved nut mixture.
18Bake 20-25 minutes or until center looks set.
19Cool to room temp in pan on rack.
20Cover and refrigerate 3 hours.
21Cut into 24 squares.
22Refrigerate airtight up to 5 days
