Peanut butter chips and jelly bars

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
1/2 cupSugar
3/4 tspBaking powder
1/2 cupCold butter or margarine
1 Egg, beaten
3/4 cupGrape jelly
10 ozReese's Peanut Butter Chips

Procedures:
1Heat oven to 375 °Fahrenheit.
2Grease 9-inch square baking pan.
3Stir together flour, sugar and baking powder; with pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4Add egg; blend well.
5Reserve half of mixture; press remaining mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.
6Spread jelly evenly over crust.
7Sprinkle 1 cup peanut butter chips over jelly.
8Stir together remaining crumb mixture with remaining 2/3 cup chips; sprinkle over top.
9Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
10Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
11Cut into bars.
12About 16 bars.
