| 1 | Preheat oven to 350 deg f. |
| 2 | Butter baking sheets. |
| 3 | Combine flour, cornstarch baking powder and baking soda. |
| 4 | Beat butter and peanut butter together. |
| 5 | Add sugars and beat until fluffy. |
| 6 | Beat in egg and vanilla. |
| 7 | Gradually add dry ingredients and beat well. |
| 8 | Shape dough into 1 ? balls. |
| 9 | Press a kiss candy into each ball, flat side down. |
| 10 | Press dough up around kiss so only the tip is sticking out. |
| 11 | Put cookies onto baking sheet, 2" apart. |
| 12 | Bake until lightly browned. |
