Ingredients:

| lbs | Ground beef | | 1
| tbsp | Instant minced onion | | 1/2
| tsp | Garlic salt | | 1
| can | Tomato sauce (15 oz) | | 1
| cup | Ripe olives, chopped, sliced | | 1
| cup | Dairy sour cream (?pint) | | 1
| cup | Cottage cheese, small curd | | 1
| can | Green chilies, chopped & | | | - drained (4 oz) | | 1
| pack | Tortilla chips (8 oz) | | 2
| cup | Jack cheese, grated (8 oz) |

Procedures:
| 1 | In frying pan, brown ground beef until crumbly. | | 2 | Drain excess fat. | | 3 | Add onion, garlic salt, and tomato sauce. | | 4 | Cook, covered, over low heat just long enough to heat thru. | | 5 | Remove from heat and set aside. | | 6 | Combine sour cream, cottage cheese, olives and green chilies. | | 7 | Set aside. | | 8 | Crush tortilla chips slightly, reserving a few whole chips for garnish, if desired. | | 9 | Place half of the chips in a well buttered 2 ?quart casserole dish. | | 10 | Add half of the meat mixture; cover with half of the sour cream mixture and sprinkle with half of the grated cheese. | | 11 | Repeat layers. | | 12 | Bake uncovered in 350°F degree oven 35 minutes or until bubbling hot. | | 13 | Garnish with saved tortilla chips. | | 14 | Serve with sour cream. | | 15 | Reduce or eliminate chilies for children or sensitive palates |
