Peach and raspberry cobbler

Ingredients:
9 Peaches, about 3 lbs
1 cupSugar
1 tspSugar
2 tbspCornstarch
2 tspLemon juice
1 pintRaspberries
1 1/2 cupFlour
1 1/2 tspBaking powder
3/4 tspSalt
5 tbspButter, chilled
2/3 cupMilk
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 400.
2Peel peaches and slice.
3Combine them with ?cup of sugar, the cornstarch and lemon juice.
4Gently stir in raspberries.
5Transfer to 2-qt.
6Baking dish.
7Cover with foil.
8Bake until juices are bubbling, about 30 minutes.
9Meanwhile, combine ?cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
10Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
11Stir milk into flour mixture until ingredients just hold together.
12Drop eight heaping spoonfuls of dough onto hot fruit and sprinkle remaining sugar on dough.
13Bake, uncovered, until the biscuits have browned, about 25 minutes.
