Ingredients:
2 tbspMargarine or butter
3 medCarrots, thinly sliced
1 medPotato, cut into ?inch
Pn
1 smallOnion, finely chopped
(about ?cup)
1 packFrozen whole, (10 ozs)
Kernel corn
2 tbspAll-purpose flour
1 canChicken broth, (14-?ozs)
2 cupCut-up cooked turkey or
Chicken
2 cupMilk
1/4 tspSalt
1/8 tspPepper
Procedures:
1Recipe by: betty crocker"s microwave Place margarine, carrots, potato and onion in 3-quart casserole.
2Cover tightly and microwave on high 8 to 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes, until vegetables are crisp-tender.
3Stir in frozen corn.
4Cover tightly and microwave 7 to 8 minutes or until corn is hot.
5Shake flour and ?cup of the broth in tightly covered container.
6Stir flour mixture, remaining broth and remaining ingredients into vegetables.
7Cover tightly and microwave 14 to 16 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes, until hot and slightly thickened.
8Garnish with snipped fresh parsley if desired.
96 servings (about 1-1/3 cups each); 260 calories per serving.
