Peach cobbler with cheddar biscuits

Ingredients:
1 quartPeaches, sliced
3/4 cupSugar
1 tspCornstarch
1/4 tspSalt
1 tspLemon juice
1 tspAlmond extract
1 1/2 tspButter
1 xCHEDDAR BISCUITS
1 cupBiscuit mix, bisquick
1/2 cupCheddar, md, grated
1/2 tspButter, melted
1/3 cupMilk
Procedures:
1Preheat the oven to 400 °F.
2Place the peaches in a greased baking pan.
3Mix the sugar, cornstarch and salt, then sprinkle over the peaches.
4Sprinkle the lemon juice, almond extract over the peach mixture.
5Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
6Meanwhile, make the biscuits by combining all of the ingredients, stirring well.
7Remove the baking pan and drop the dough onto the hot peach mixture and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the biscuits are done.
8Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream.
