Filled frankfurters

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupMacaroni, broken
3/4 cupMilk, evaporated
1 1/4 tspMustard, dry
1 1/4 tspSalt
1/8 tspPepper
2 1/2 cupCheddar, md, grated
1 1/2 lbsFrankfurters, deli-style
Procedures:
1Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water until tender.
2Drain and rinse in hot water.
3Combine the milk, mustard, salt, pepper and 2 cups of the cheddar cheese in the top of a double boiler and cook until the cheddar is melted and sauce is smooth, stirring frequently.
4Add the macaroni and blend well.
5Split the frankfurters lengthwise, without separating them, and fill with the macaroni mixture.
6Sprinkle with the remaining cheddar and bake in a hot oven (400 °F).
7For 15 minutes.
