Giant chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter, room temperature (1
1/4 cupGranulated sugar
1/3 cupBrown sugar
1 Large egg
1/2 tbspVanilla extract
1 cup(+ 2 t.) all purpose flour
1/2 tbspSalt
1/2 tbspBaking soda
1 cupSemisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cupCoarsely chopped walnuts
Procedures:
1Fat grams per serving: approx. cook time: 00:11 Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2Beat the butter and both sugars in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
3Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
4Mix the flour, salt, and baking soda in another bowl.
5Add the dry ingredients to the batter and mix until well blended.
6Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
7Drop the dough by small scoops 2 to 3 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
8Flatten each scoop with the back of a spoon to about 3 inches in diameter.
9Bake until the centers are still slightly soft to the touch, 11 to 14 minutes.
10Let cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely.
11Makes 12 to 15 cookies, or 1 for randall!
