Ingredients:
12 ozFrankfurters *1
3 tbspSalad oil or fat
3 tbspFlour
1 tspSalt
1/8 tspDry mustard
Ds Rubbed sage
Ds Curry powder
1/8 tspChili powder
1 smallBay leaf
29 ozCanned tomatoes (1lb 13 oz)
8 ozMacaroni, cooked
Procedures:
1* the recipe calls for a 12 ounce can of frankfurters.
2Maybe a package of wieners would work.
3Cut franks in 1 inch pieces.
4Heat fatadd meat and brown lightly.
5Add flour and seasonings; blend with fat and franks in pan.
6Force tomatoes through a coarse sieve; add pulp to ingredients in pan.
7Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
8Reduce heat; continue to cook until thickened.
9Serve over hot, drained macaroni
