Ingredients:
1 packBeef-Mushroom Freezer Mix
3 cupWater
1/2 cupBarley, uncooked
1 cupCelery, sliced
1 cupCarrot, sliced
1 Parsley, sprig
1 Bay leaf
3/4 tspSalt
Procedures:
1Dip container of frozen mix into hot water just to loosen.
2In dutch oven, heat frozen mix and remaining ingredients to boiling.
3Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring frequently, until mix is thawed and barley and vegetables are tender, 30 to 40 minutes.
