Freezer mix pasties

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cupBrowned/Seasoned Freezer Mix
1 canCarrot, (8oz), diced
1 Potato, pared/shredded, mediu
1/2 cupAmerican cheese, shredded
1/2 cupCheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cupCatsup
1/2 tspGarlic salt
1/4 tspPepper
1 tbspPrepared mustard
1 packPie crust mix/sticks(11oz)
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 375".
2Cook freezer mix in large skillet until meat is brown.
3Drain off fat.
4Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients except pie crust mix and set aside.
5Prepare pastry for two-crust pie as directed on package.
6Divide dough into 8 equal parts.
7Roll each part on floured surface into a 7-inch circle.
8On half of each circle, spread about ?cup meat mixture (packed) to within ?inch of edge.
9Moisten edge of pastry with water.
10Fold pastry over filling, sealing edges with a fork.
11Place on ungreased baking sheet; prick tops with a fork.
12Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
13You can serve these as sandwiches or, if you prefer, place on plates and top with a favorite gravy or sauce.
14Note: you can substitute 1 cup of a favorite cooked vegetable for the canned carrots
