Ingredients:

| tbsp | Minced onion | | 3
| tbsp | Butter | | 1
| tbsp | Flour | | 1
| cup | Peanut butter | | 4
| cup | Chicken broth | | | Salt, pepper | | 1
| cup | Whipping cream | | 1
| tbsp | Madeira |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cook onion in butter until soft in 2-quart saucepan. | | 2 | Add flour and cook, stirring, until smooth. | | 3 | Stir in peanut butter, add chicken broth. | | 4 | Season to taste with salt and pepper. | | 5 | Cook, stirring, over low heat until thickened and smooth. | | 6 | Add cream. | | 7 | Just before serving, add madeira. |
