Ingredients:
5 sliceBacon, diced
1 largeOnion, diced
2 clGarlic, minced
1/2 Cabbage, shredded
1 Red apples, chopped
3 tbspFlour
2 smallChicken broth
1/8 tspNutmeg
1/4 tspCinnamon
1/2 cupHeavy cream
2 Egg yolks
2 tspDijon mustard
Procedures:

2Saute onions and garlic..
3Add cabbage and apple.
4Saute.
5Stir in flour.
6Cook for 3 minutes.
7Slowly add chicken broth.
8Add pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.
9Stir.
10Add bacon.
11Bring pot to boil.
12Simmer, stirring occasionally, about 25 minutes.
13Just before serving, stir in cream, mixed with egg yolks and some hot soup.
14Pour into pot.
15Add mustard.
16Serve immediately.
