Ingredients:
1/2 lbsBacon, diced
1 medOnion, chopped
1/2 cupCelery, chopped
2 tbspFlour
4 cupMilk
16 ozCan creamed corn
1 canPotatoes [Or use cooked
-chopped potatoes to taste
-S.C.]
1/2 tspSalt
1/8 tspPepper
Parsley
Paprika
Procedures:
1Here"s one i got from a friend many years ago...
2I haven"t tried it for a long time, but it was excellent++good enough for me to get the recipe and i wasn"t even into cooking at the time.
3fry the bacon and save 3 tablespoons of the drippings.
4Fry onion and celery in the drippings until tender.
5Blend in flour, stirring until bubbly.
6Remove from heat and stir in milk.
7Heat to boiling point, stirring constantly.
8Boil and stir for one minute.
9Stir in remaining ingredients.
10if you feel really racy, dump in a drained can of clams.
