Fried spare ribs with honey

Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbsPork ribs, trimmed
3/4 cupSugar
1/2 cupVinegar
5 tbspSoy sauce
3 tbspSherry
4 cupCooking oil
Procedures:
1Cut the ribs between the bones into single pieces.
2Heat the sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and sherry to a boil.
3Pour over the ribs and marinate for at least one hour.
4Heat the oil in a large wok.
5Add the ribs and fry for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
6Turn off heat and allow to continue cooking an additional 4 minutes.
7Remove, drain, and serve.
8The sweet sauce, what we call honey, is our special touch.
9The ribs, if prepared perfectly, will be crisp on the outside, sweet and tender on the inside
