| 1 | Peel carrots and cut into thin slices (crosswise at a slant). |
| 2 | Place in a saucepan with the soda water, wine, ?t salt and sugar. |
| 3 | Cover and simmer for 25 minutes or until tender. |
| 4 | Meanwhile cut the meat into very thin slices. |
| 5 | Heat the vegetable oil and saute the onions about 5 minutes. |
| 6 | Add the beef slices; cook for 5 minutes, stirring often. |
| 7 | Season with ?t salt and ?t pepper. |
| 8 | Add the meat and onions to the carrots. |
| 9 | Mix carefully. |
| 10 | Stir in the cream. |
| 11 | Heat through but do not boil. |
| 12 | Correct seasonings if necessary. |
| 13 | Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve |
