Ingredients:
1 cupSugar
5 tbspCake Flour
1 dashSalt
1/2 cupOrange juice
3 tbspLemon juice
1/4 cupWater
1 Egg, well beaten
2 tspOrange rind, grated
2 tspButter
Procedures:
1Combine sugar, flour, and salt in top of double boiler; add fruit juice, water, and egg, mixing thoroughly.
2Place over boiling water and cookr 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
3Add orange rind and butter.
4Cool.
5Makes enough filling to spread between two 9-inch layers (generously), or between three 10-inch layers.
