German beef roulade

Ingredients:
-Germany
1 1/2 lbsFlank steak
4 tspDijon mustard
6 sliceBacon, diced
3/4 cupChopped onion
1/3 cupChopped dill pickle
1/4 cupFlour
13 1/4 ozCan beef broth
Procedures:
1With meat mallet or rolling pin, flatten meat to approximately a 10x8 inch rectangle.
2Spread mustard over meat.
3In large skillet, over medium high heat, cook bacon and onion until bacon is crisp; pour off fat, reserving ?cup.
4Spread bacon mixture over meat; sprinkle with pickle.
5Roll up meat from short end; secure with string.
6In large skillet over medium high heat, brown beef roll in reserved fat; place in a 13x9 inch baking dish.
7Stir flour into fat in skillet until smooth; gradually stir in beef broth.
8Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened.
9Pour sauce over beef roll.
10Cover; bake at 325°F for 1 ?hours or until done.
11Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
12Skim fat from sauce; strain and serve with meat
